Nottingham Forest predicted line-up vs. Wolves: Two changes made with Murillo and Gibbs-White both doubts

The latest Nottingham Forest team news and predicted starting XI for their Premier League game against Wolves.
Nottingham Forest are in Premier League action once again this Wednesday evening when they cross the Midlands to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers – but Sean Dyche may still be forced to make do without several key players due to injuries.
While Dyche has told the press that Forest’s injury crisis is “getting better” with several players close to returning, there is still a chance that they could have as many as nine first-team players unavailable for the game against Wolves – including Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood and Murillo.
As kick-off approaches, we’ve collected all the latest Nottingham Forest team news and injury updates below, along with our prediction for Dyche’s starting XI at the Molineux.
Will Morgan Gibbs-White & Murillo be fit to face Wolves?
Attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White had only just returned from one injury when he seemed to suffer another, limping off with a knock towards the end of the 2-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
Dyche played down the severity of the issue during his pre-match press conference, however, telling the media that while he had indeed sustained a minor injury, Forest were “expecting him to be ready for selection” against Wolves.
Similarly, centre-back Murillo, who missed the Brighton match with a hamstring problem, will “hopefully” be ready to play – but while his injury is not expected to be an issue, Dyche added that the Brazilian had picked up a “little bit of a virus” which may put his participation in further doubt. It is unclear that he will be fit and well enough to play, although Dyche sounded optimistic about his chances.
Two other recently-injured players are also back in training, in the shape of utility man Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin) and winger Dilane Bakwa (hamstring) – neither is expected to be involved against Wolves, but they will both return to action soon, with Zinchenko said to be the closer of the two to making a comeback.
When will Chris Wood be back for Nottingham Forest?
One crucial player who still won’t be back in action is striker Chris Wood, whose return from a knee injury that he picked up playing for New Zealand in October was recently delayed – Dyche only told the press that Wood remained unavailable for the match against Wolves, but The Nottingham Post separately report that he is expected to be back in full training “shortly.”
Fellow striker Taiwo Awoniyi will also be sidelined by an undisclosed injury, with no return date yet set, while summer signing Douglas Luiz (hamstring) will also be unavailable. Dyche said that the midfielder is “getting closer” to a comeback but a mid-December return looks most likely at this stage.
Elsewhere, full-back Ola Aina (hamstring) isn’t expected back until January and is, in any case, not registered in Forest’s Premier League squad at present, and back-up goalkeeper Angus Gunn (knee) is out for an unknown length of time. Forest don’t have any players suspended for the trip to Wolves but Neco Williams will have to be careful – he’s one booking away from picking up a one-match ban.
Nottingham Forest predicted line-up vs. Wolves: Sels; Williams, Murillo, Milenković, Savona; Anderson, Sangaré; Hudson-Odoi, Gibbs-White, Ndoye; Igor Jesus.
