Footy Headlines have obtained alleged details of Adidas’ latest design for the club which corroborate previous unverified leaks, and it looks as though Leeds are set for a brand new look for the first time in many years…

What Leeds’ 2026/27 home kit looks like – according to leaks

The social media image above gives us a hint of the apparent new design, which seems set to feature blue and yellow pinstripes running horizontally across the otherwise traditional white front of the kit – and gives the design the whiff of a Fred Perry t-shirt.

Leeds have used blue and yellow pinstripes before (on the 2005/06 home kit and several 1980s shirts, for instance, which used vertical stripes along the body) but this is the first time a Leeds jersey has ever featured a horizontal striped pattern as Adidas mark a departure from club tradition.

The yellow and blue stripes also feature on the open-necked collar and on the sleeve trim, while the traditional three Adidas stripes across the shoulders are in place as would be expected. The standard club badge and kit manufacturers’ logo will be used in their usual places on either side of the chest.

No authentic images of the final kit have yet been leaked, so as it stands the details cannot be verified, but with multiple sources now suggesting the same look it appears as though Leeds are destined for a change of style for the first time in a long while.

Verifiable images of the away shirt are also not yet available but numerous sources have claimed that it will be a more traditional yellow number with blue trim.

Leeds fans react to curious new home shirt

The reaction from fans on social media has been somewhat mixed – while there are plenty of fans who have showered the shirt with praise online, there are also plenty of dissenting voices and the kit has a dire 2.87/5 rating from Football Kit Archive’s public reviews, suggesting that more fans are unhappy than happy with the new polo shirt vibe. The views of noted fashionista Dominic Calvert-Lewin remain unknown at the time of writing.

The kit, which will once again have Red Bull as the front-of-shirt sponsor when it’s finally unveiled, will either be launched in late May or late July, according to Footy Headlines, suggesting a decision has yet to be made between two possible marketing strategies. There is no suggestion as yet that the new kit will be worn before the end of the current Premier League campaign.

We don’t yet have any indication as to when the away shirt will be revealed officially, and nor do we have any reliable leaks which offer us any information on the third kit that the club will wear for the 2026/27 season – which will be a second consecutive campaign in the top flight after Daniel Farke’s side ensured their safety this weekend, with West Ham’s defeat to Arsenal guaranteeing the Whites their place in the Premier League for another year.
