According to Football Insider, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has ‘interest’ from Real Madrid and Barcelona. He is under contract at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2034. Therefore, his current club have no pressure to sell him anytime soon and can demand massive money.

Haaland, 25, has been prolific since his switch to the North West back in 2022. He has scored 22 league goals this season under the guidance of Pep Guardiola. Prior to his move, he caught the eye in Germany for Borussia Dortmund.

The 3am Verdict: It would be a surprise to see Manchester City sell Erling Haaland this summer. He is their main man at the top end of the pitch and is still under contract for many years to come. You can see why Real Madrid and Barcelona are keen as he has proved time and time again that he knows where the back of the net is. However, they will probably need to look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.

Arsenal target Christian Kofane summer transfer deal

Arsenal are interested in a swoop for Bayer Leverkusen forward Christian Kofane in the next transfer window, as per Spanish news outlet Fichajes. The Gunners are being linked with a swoop for the youngster later this year. At the age of 19, he has bags of potential and will only get better down the line.

Kofane, who is a Cameroon international with four caps to his name, rose up through the ranks at Albacete in Spain. He broke into their first-team as a teenager last year before Leverkusen lured him over to Germany. The prospect has since scored seven goals in 38 matches in all competitions in this campaign since his transfer to the Bundesliga.

The 3am Verdict: Christian Kofane is being tipped for a bright future in the game and could be a shrewd long-term addition for Arsenal. The 28-year-old is an experienced operator in the top flight. He has been on the books at Craven Cottage since 2020 and he has helped them establish themselves since their promotion from the Championship under Marco Silva. The American has had spells in the past at Everton, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic before making London his home.
