Manchester City's 2025/26 third kit leaked online with simple design and collar decision made

Manchester City will be hoping for much better in the 2025/26 season - but will they look better too?

Manchester City have endured a difficult 2024/25 campaign and have underperformed by their standards. Pep Guardiola’s side were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid and didn’t make the Carabao Cup final. They are pushing for a place in the top four as things stand in the Premier League.

The North West outfit also remain in the FA Cup so they could still win a trophy. They have the chance to bolster their ranks with some new faces this summer. There is also the opportunity to let some players head out the exit door when the next window opens as well.

Manchester City’s leaked kit ahead of 2025/26 season

City’s third kit for the upcoming 2025/26 season has been leaked online. As per Footy Headlines, they will be wearing black on their travels next term. As with any leak on social media, it must be taken with a pinch of salt as it hasn’t been officially unveiled by the club as of yet, but you can check the alleged new design out by clicking here.

If the shirt is real, Guardiola’s men will sport a black collared jersey. Their badge, sponsor and puma logos are all white. In addition, the trim of the collar is also white.

City replaced Nike with Puma back in 2019 and penned a bumper 10-year deal running until 2029 with the Germany-based brand in a deal worth up to £65million a year. They also cover their sister clubs in Australia, Spain, Uruguay and China.

Former Puma chief executive Björn Gulden, who is now with Adidas, said at the time: “Puma’s partnership with City Football Group is the largest deal that we have ever done - both in scope and ambition. We are very excited to partner with City Football Group, whose success, ambition and drive for innovation has seen them setting new standards, on and off the field. We look forward to building the most innovative partnership in football by redefining the sports partnership model both on and off the pitch.”

What did Pep Guardiola say after Manchester City’s draw with Manchester United?

City played out a drab 0-0 draw away at Manchester United over the weekend. It was a poor game and the visitors weren’t able to stamp their mark on the match. Speaking afterwards, Guardiola said: “It’s what it is. Of course it would be better to win.

“Old Trafford is Old Trafford. You always need a good performance to win. We tried to make a good build-up, get crosses really well and tried to control the situations. They can run and they were dangerous but always we had our chances.

“In the second half in the first 10 or 15 mins it was our best moment. The last three games I saw many good things, in the last two games and today and the passion when we lose the ball that we lost many times this season for many reasons. But with the ball always our strength will be with the position and we lost that today. We were not in the right position to hurt them.”
