The latest Premier League transfer rumours including updates from Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and West Ham.

Casemiro, who is a Brazil international with 81 caps to his name, has split opinion throughout his time in England since his move in 2015. Prior to his switch, the Sao Paulo academy graduate spent nine years at Real Madrid. He has made 135 appearances for the Red Devils to date and has scored 20 goals, three of which have come in this campaign.

The 3AM Verdict: Manchester United risk losing Casemiro for nothing if they can’t agree terms with him over an extension or he isn’t sold in January. It would be a surprise to see him join another Premier League club next year due to his age. It seems more likely that he will go abroad to Saudi Arabia or USA for one last payday.

Nottingham Forest want Everton ace James Garner

Nottingham Forest boss Sean Dyche will be looking to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad in the January transfer window. According to Football Insider, he is showing ‘interest’ in Everton midfielder James Garner along with Aston Villa and Newcastle United. He knows the former Manchester United player well from their time at the Toffees together.

Garner, 24, left Old Trafford for Merseyside back in 2022 and hasn’t looked back since. He has become a key player for his current club but they face a battle to keep hold of him now amid attention from elsewhere. His contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium expires at the end of the season.

The 3AM Verdict: James Garner has played for Nottingham Forest before and was a hit with the Reds during his two loan spells from Manchester United. He would be a shrewd addition for Sean Dyche’s side and would inject more quality into their squad. However, there will be competition for his signature with Aston Villa and Newcastle United also said to be in the frame.

West Ham consider non-league prospect

West Ham are ‘looking’ at young Doncaster City defender Pierre Ewisie Nelson, journalist Alan Nixon has reported on his Patreon page. The London outfit have invited the prospect for a trial and are keeping tabs on him. He operates as a right-back and can play in the heart of defence as well.

Neslon, 17, has caught the eye playing in non-league over recent times. He has been called up to England schoolboys as well so is highly regarded. It remains to be seen at this stage whether the Hammers will lodge an official offer to sign him.

The 3AM Verdict: West Ham could see Pierre Ewisie Nelson as someone to boost their development ranks. If he joined, he would initially link up with their youth set-up with a view to breaking into the first-team down the line. He has also had some exposure to senior football in non-league with Doncaster City will will have benefitted him a lot.
