Man Utd & Chelsea both want £78m rising star as Arsenal ready blockbuster 'concrete offer' for swap transfer

The biggest new Premier League transfer rumours - with news from Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and more.

It’s once again time for 3 Added Minutes’ regular morning round-up of the biggest and spiciest new Premier League transfer rumours – and we’re going to kick things off with a story which suggests that Manchester United and Chelsea are both in the race for the same big-money player.

Caught Offside report that United are “preparing” a bid for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, who is becoming something of a regular in the gossip columns after an impressive start to the Serie A season – and he’s now “their priority for summer 2026” despite Chelsea’s interest.

The Blues are “also keen” on the 20-year-old Turkish winger, but there is apparently a “feeling among sources” that United are willing to outbid Chelsea – and could even go as high as €90m (£78m) to get a deal done ahead of their rivals.

Juventus, for their part, “won’t let him go without a fight” and are preparing a new contract offer to deter overseas interest, and the player himself is said not to be “showing any signs of being desperate to leave” the Turin team.

The 3AM Verdict: Get ready to hear Yildiz’s name an awful lot between now and next summer, with a lot of team allegedly keen on the wide-man. Chelsea are probably the team we’ve seen linked most often but it’s not necessarily clear that they’ll be in the market for another winger any time soon – not that they’ve been much good at resisting the temptation to sign a young wide forward in the past.

Arsenal plot sensational swap offer with Gabriel Jesus up for grabs

Having said that you’ll hear Yildiz’s name a lot – you won’t have to wait very long at all, because TeamTalk are separately reporting that Arsenal are readying a “raid” for the winger as well, and could try to offload an unwanted striker as part of a sensational swap deal.

Arsenal have supposedly begun “preliminary talks” with the young Turk’s agents ahead of a bid and are preparing to make a “concrete offer” of €50m (£43.5m) plus striker Gabriel Jesus, who is yet to return to action following an ACL injury. Arsenal are said to value Jesus at £30m.

The Gunners’ plot “may not work,” however, with TeamTalk also citing Juventus’ determination to tie Yildiz down to a new contract – his current deal expires in 2029, meaning that the Old Lady have plenty of leverage already.

The 3AM Verdict: Swap deals like this are becoming more common because of how they allow teams to bend financial regulations, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t be easier to sort a straight cash deal. The price point is very much in line with Caught Offside’s reporting, which may be a useful data point, at least. We doubt that a ‘concrete offer’ is being made just yet, however, as this is surely a deal which would only take place next summer.

Manchester United ‘monitoring’ £75m Bournemouth star

Let’s wrap up with another story which puts Manchester United in the frame to sign an expensive winger – GiveMeSport allege that it’s not Yildiz they’re after, but Bournemouth’s in-form Antoine Semenyo.

The Red Devils are said to be “closely monitoring” the Ghanaian winger, who is apparently valued by the Cherries at £75m after he signed a long-term contract extension over the summer.

Apparently, United “held talks” with the 25-year-old over the summer before he agreed to extend his stay at Dean Court, and with a five-year deal tying him to Bournemouth for some time it won’t be easy to get a deal done.

The 3AM Verdict: As long as Semenyo keeps up his superb recent form, he’ll be linked with just about every big team in England – and while we’re sure that United would be keen if given a chance to sign him, it will be a very expensive and difficult deal to get done, and they’re unlikely to be the only team that are keen if Semenyo does seem set to leave at any point.
