The groundbreaking Tottenham and Crystal Palace player exchange transfer deal that would see sparks fly
Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bolster their ranks this summer with some new faces
Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping Thomas Frank is the man to get them competing at the right end of the Premier League table next season. They finished down in 17th place in the last campaign and were only a place above the bottom three of Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich Town. As a result, Ange Postecoglou was given the sack.

Postecoglou will be remembered at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a long time now though after winning the Europa League. His team beat Manchester United in the final in Bilbao to end their trophy drought. Brennan Johnson got their winner.
Tottenham Hotspur eye Crystal Palace starlet Eberechi Eze
Spurs need to boost their attacking department and inject some quality into their ranks. Frank will be eager to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad this summer. He has the chance to bring in his own type of signings over the next couple of months.
According to The Guardian, they are keen on Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze. The Eagles will face a major battle to keep hold of him in this window amid attention from elsewhere. He scored the winner for Oliver Glasner’s side in the FA Cup final against Manchester City last month at Wembley.
Eze, 26, would be perfect for Spurs ahead of next term under Frank. He is still relatively young, has potential to get better down the line and would give them something different going forward. The England international, who has 11 caps to his name, must play in the Champions League now to show what he can do.
The London-born man had spells as a youngster at Arsenal, Fulham, Reading and Millwall. He finally settled at QPR and rose up through their ranks before getting experience out on loan from the Hoops at Wycombe Wanderers in the Football League. Upon his return to the R’s, he became a key first-team player and went on to score 20 goals in 112 games.
His emergence in the Championship resulted in Crystal Palace taking a gamble on him in 2020. He has since become one of the Eagles’ most prized assets over the last five years. The attacking midfielder has found the net on 39 occasions in 166 matches altogether.
Tottenham Hotspur should swap Richarlison in return
Crystal Palace are likely to demand silly money for Eze and rightly so, he is one of their main men. Spurs will have to spend big in order to snatch him away from their London rivals. Therefore, they should try and use one of their players as part of a swap deal plus cash in an attempt to tempt Glasner’s men into selling.
Step forward Richarlison, who is facing an uncertain future right now. His time with his current club has turned a bit stale and a change of scene would do him good. He has proved in the past that he can score goals at the top level but his game time may start to dry up.
Therefore, an exit to somewhere like Crystal Palace can help him get his career back on track. The Brazilian would get regular minutes in South London and would be guaranteed a place in their starting XI, which is what he needs as opposed to sitting on the bench. In addition, he would be playing under a manager in Glasner who is highly rated and can get the best out of options like him.
Richarlison is an unorthodox operator who is unpredictable and can come up with a moment of brilliance. He is too inconsistent for Spurs though so letting him leave would be a shrewd choice. It would also help free up valuable space and funds in their roster to pave the way for signings like Eze.
Frank needs to get his recruitment right after his switch from Brentford. Managing Spurs will be a lot different to the Bees. He will be under pressure to get results from the off and has more fans on his back. Nevertheless, he deserves a shot at a big job after the work he did at the Brentford Community Stadium and it will be very interesting to see how he does get on over the coming months.
