Tottenham Hotspur predicted line-up vs Wolves: three key changes made from Eintracht Frankfurt game
The latest Spurs team news, injury update and predicted XI ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolves
It has been a frustrating season for Tottenham Hotspur so far and they will be hoping for much better in the next campaign. They have a big decision to make regarding Ange Postecoglou’s long-term future at the club. The London outfit are currently positioned in 14th place in the table.

Spurs have seven fixtures left to play and will want to end the campaign on a high. They also remain in the Europa League and drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt last time out. Next up is a league fixture against Wolves at Molineux on Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper and defensive options
Guglielmo Vicario is back available again for Spurs and when fit, he is their number one. The Italy international, who has made four caps for his country so far, joined them back in 2023 from Empoli. He will be looking to keep a clean sheet against Wolves.
Pedro Perro has been ever-present for Postecoglou over recent times and will keep his place. He likes to get up and down the right flank of defence. The ex-Manchester City man is a useful player to have when his side get forward.
Cristian Romero is set to keep his position in the heart of the back-line. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Ben Davies come back in for Micky van de Ven. The latter was cramping up at the end of the Frankfurt game and they shouldn’t take any risks with him given his injury issues in this campaign. Postecoglou said: “I think Micky was cramping at the end there. Obviously, they've missed a lot of football this year. It looks like they got through okay.”
At left-back, Destiny Udogie came in for Djed Spence in their last outing. However, Spurs could swap these two again to freshen things up. Postecoglou said this about Udogie after their latest European clash: “He just got cramp. He was unbelievable today. I thought it was incredible the amount of running he did. His effectiveness. It was incredible. He was just cramping up. He will be fine.”
Spurs midfield and attack
Lucas Bergvall was snapped up by Spurs last year as one for the future and he has since made a positive impression. The 19-year-old has played four times for Sweden so far in his career. He has played 41 matches altogether this term and has enjoyed plenty of game time.
Rodrigo Bentancur is poised to get the nod again and Pape Matar Sarr may come in for James Maddision to shake things up in the middle of the park. Maddison doesn’t usually play 90 minutes and Sarr would help shore things up in that department. The 22-year-old has found the net on six occasions in 45 games this season so far.
Further up the pitch, Brennan Johnson and Son Heung-min’s pace and power should cause Vitor Pereira’s side some issues in the Midlands. Dominic Solanke will then lead the line as he aims to add to his tally. The ex-AFC Bournemouth has found the net on 11 occasions since his transfer.
Tottenham Hotspur: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Davies, Spence; Bentancur, Bergvall, Sarr; Johnson, Solanke, Son
