Everything you need to know about how to watch England’s Nations League game against Czechia.

Following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to world champions Spain, England are back in Nations League action in Czechia on Tuesday evening as they search for a first victory of the group stage.

The game in Prague will offer Thomas Tuchel’s team a chance to get back on track after they let a 2-1 lead slip at Wembley, while the artists formerly known as the Czech Republic should – in theory - offer a slightly less stern test of the Three Lions’ mettle than the Spanish.

So where can you watch Czechia v England? We’ve got all of the timings, channel details and streaming options for UK viewers below.

England’s game against Czechia will be shown free to air on ITV1 in the UK, with live coverage starting at 19:00 BST on Tuesday 29 September ahead of kick-off in Prague, which is scheduled to take place at 19:45.

As a league stage game, there will be no extra-time or penalties in the event of a draw, meaning that the broadcast should finish on time at 22:05.

The match at the Fortuna Arena will also be shown for free on ITV’s streaming platform, ITVX, via the website and mobile app for users in the UK only. Registration is required.

ITV will also host coverage of England’s two further Nations League matches over the remainder of the extended international break – away to Croatia on Saturday 3 October, and then back at Wembley Stadium against Czechia on Tuesday 6 October.

England’s opponents come into Tuesday’s tie on a four-match winless streak, having been defeated 2-1 at home by Croatia in the opening round of Nations League fixtures.

They also failed to win any of their three games at the 2026 World Cup, losing to Mexico and South Korea and only picking up a point against South Africa before they fell at the first hurdle.

England, as such, head into the game as firm favourites. They have won four of their five encounters with Czechia as an independent nation, although they did lose 2-1 in Prague during European Championship qualifying back in 2019.

The Three Lions have not reported any new injury issues after their defeat to Spain, but Tuchel will face an anxious wait on the fitness of Lewis Hall, who missed Saturday’s match after what the England head coach described as an “injury scare” in training.

Five players – Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Tino Livramento – all pulled out of the England squad after being selected, while Reece James, John Stones and Djed Spence are among the players who missed out on a call-up due to injuries sustained at club level.

England are expected to name a strong squad for Tuesday’s game as they work to keep the pressure on Spain at the top of their League A group. The winners of the four-team group will progress to next year’s Nations League finals, the venue for which has not yet been announced. The bottom team will be relegated to League B, as happened to England back in 2022 following a defeat to Italy.
