Croatia vs England TV and streaming details as Thomas Tuchel’s side prepare for their latest UEFA Nations League clash
England’s 2026/27 UEFA Nations League campaign continues this weekend, when Thomas Tuchel’s side takes on Croatia at the Stadion Rujevica in Rijeka. The Three Lions head into the game with three points from their opening two matches, having lost at home to Spain before bouncing back with a 1-0 win away to Czechia earlier this week.
The result saw England go second in their group, three points behind current leaders Spain and level on points with Croatia. Saturday’s clash between England and Croatia will see the two nations pitted against each other just three and a half months on from their 2026 World Cup meeting, where Tuchel’s side beat their opponents 4-2 in an enthralling group stage opener.
While England went on to make it all the way to the semi-finals, before succumbing to a brutal defeat to Argentina and subsequently hammering France in the third-place play-off, Croatia were knocked out in the Round of 32 by Portugal after a last-gasp 94th minute Goncalo Ramos winner saw the Selecao das Quinas progress with a 2-1 victory.
Ahead of England’s trip to Croatia, we’ve got all the TV and streaming details you need to watch the eagerly anticipated Nations League fixture.
How to watch Croatia vs England on TV

ITV will be providing full televised coverage of England’s UEFA Nations League match against Croatia. Those wishing to stream the game can do so for free via the ITVX app. Coverage of the match will begin at 4:15pm (BST), with 45 minutes of pre-match build-up ahead of the 5pm kick-off. Both Talk Sport and BBC Radio 5 Live will have radio commentary of the game.
One notable factor of England’s match against Croatia is that the game will be played behind closed doors. This is due to a UEFA sanction that penalised the hosts for crowd disturbances during a match against France last year. Exactly 100 tickets have been given to England fans via the England Supporters Travel Club so there will be at least some fan presence in the ground.
Following their trip to Croatia, England will end the three-week international break where it began - back at Wembley Stadium. They’ll face Czechia and look to do the double over Santi Denia’s side, after goals from Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane saw the Three Lions cruise past their opponents in Prague earlier this week.
What happens if England win their Nations League group?

England can book their place in the Nations League finals if they manage to secure a top two finish in their group. That would see them enter the quarter-final stage of the competition which takes place next June, along with other countries who finished in the same position in the remaining A tier groups.
Should the Three Lions finish third in their group, then they’ll be forced to play a relegation play-off in March, which will be decided across two legs. This game will be contested against a side who finished second in one of the B tier groups. A win here would see England maintain their top tier status, whereas a loss would see them drop down a bracket.
If England were to finish bottom of their Nations League group, then they might not be automatically eliminated from the A tier and head straight down to the B tier. If they’re one of the rather oxymoronic best-performing fourth-place finishers, they’d have the opportunity to preserve their status with a play-off game in March.
